The Auto assign SE snap-in automates the assignment of support engineers based on account field updates, ensuring efficient workload distribution and compliance with predefined conditions.
Features
Trigger-based assignment: Listens for changes in selected account fields. When those fields reach certain values, the automation assigns a support engineer.
Field validation: Checks for additional fields and conditions before making an assignment.
How to Use Auto Assign SE snap-in
- In the Configuration tab, specify:
Trigger Field: The account field to monitor for updates.
Trigger Value: The value that activates the assignment process.
Assign Field: The field where the selected support engineer will be assigned
Support Engineer Group: The group to pick engineers from.
Extra Fields and Conditions: Any additional fields and their required conditions.
Click Save to save your configuration.
Click the Install button to initiate the installation process.
