The Effort Tracker snap-in provides automated effort logging within DevRev. With a single command (/log_effort
), team members can quickly log the time they’ve spent on tasks directly within DevRev. The snap-in guides users through entering required details like date, hours, and days, ensuring no incomplete or invalid entries are submitted. Each effort entry is stored in a structured, queryable format and appears instantly in the timeline of the related work item. Effort logged in sub-issues is automatically rolled up to parent issues, keeping progress tracking accurate at every level.
