This snap-in automates the movement of tickets to a custom stage based on their linkage to enhancements or issues. Tickets automatically transition to a specified stage when linked to enhancements in the Ideation or Deprioritized stages, or when linked to backlogged issues. Manual transitions are also permitted if the conditions are met; otherwise, the ticket will revert to its previous stage. Additionally, when an enhancement is updated to either of these stages, all its linked tickets are transitioned accordingly.

Note: The automation will not function correctly if the stage transition diagram is misconfigured.

Features

  • Automated Stage Transition
    Automatically moves tickets to a custom stage when they are linked to enhancements in the Ideation or Deprioritized stage, or when linked to backlogged issues.

  • Enhancement Stage-Based Trigger
    When the stage of an enhancement is updated to Ideation or Deprioritized, all linked tickets are transitioned to the configured custom stage.

Installation

During installation, the following options can be configured:

  • The custom stage to which tickets should transition.

  • A toggle to enable or disable automatic stage transitions.

  • A toggle to automatically send a message to the customer when the ticket is moved.

  • Notification preferences for customer comments.
